Q1. Can this ITE power supply meet IEC 62368-1 requirements for my system?

Our ITE power supply design is based on the IEC 62368-1 safety standard system and universal use for IT and industrial equipment. The judge, if it matches your equipment, still needs to combine with the whole structure, the electrical isolation requirement(like creepage and clearance), and finally the certification path. Generally, in the evaluation stage, we judge direct use or the need for an adjustment solution according to your system structure.

In the actual use of an ITE power supply, you cannot just focus on the rated voltage and observe the actual working environment inside the equipment. For example, in routers, switches, or industrial control equipment, the temperature inside the computer case is often higher than outside, specifically in limited space or situations involving poor airflow. So many power supplies will allow for temperature and load margins and will not run in the fully loaded state for a long time. In the 40℃ to 50℃ or higher environment, we suggest derating to ensure reliability for a long time.

Ripple, noise, and EMI are not directly reflected in the paper parameters and are actually observed during system debugging or EMC testing. In some network equipment, if using the same power supply, different PCB layout or filtering design results in different outcomes. EMI is not solved depending only on the power supply; grounding method, cable routing, and shielding design all affect the final result. So we usually only focus on power supply data, and the complete unit conducts an EMC test together.

24/7 continuous operation is a common type in network equipment and servers. Most ITE power supplies are designed for this solution. The actual effect on lifespan is not just that it is left on all the time, but depends on operating conditions such as temperature, ventilation, and long-term full-load operation.

But the actual lifespan is different because the same power supply has different performance under different temperature, load, and heat dissipation conditions.

Our delivery time often depends on the project solution and is not fixed. A standard model custom service is usually short. For instance, modifications to electrical parameters, structural adjustments, or changes in certification requirements can extend the timeline. In addition, delivery times are also affected by component availability, order volumes, and the production line schedule at the time. A relatively accurate timeframe can only be provided once the plan has been confirmed.

Our standard MOQ is 1,000 items to ensure production efficiency and cost structure. For some solutions, assessments are based on electrical design complexity, structural adjustments, and certification requirements, and are not entirely fixed. After the project evaluation, we provide a detailed MOQ plan for you.

In the sample stage, prioritize scheduling after confirming the specification, use for electricity verification and system test, and universal needs about 15 days.
In the bulk production stage, the cycle will be affected by material preparation and scheduling, especially if the ITE power supply design involves customization.
